The 41LSH horizontal electric hydraulic log splitter from Mitox may be compact at only 100cm long, but it still produces 4 tonnes of splitting force with the 1500w motor. This force can manage logs up to 37cm long with a diameter of 25cm. Ideal for homeowners for splitting their own logs for log burners, open fires and bonfires.Safety regulations mean all horizontal log splitters must now include a guard or safety cage isolating the splitting area from the operator. A wide log cradle holds the logs in place so you don’t have to hold them whilst splitting. Two handed operation also keeps your hands away from the splitting area. The splitter will automatically return to the start position if you release a switch. The splitting wedge is reinforced so you can push through tough or knotted wood reliably.
