When I  first laid eyes upon this gorgeous rose I was intrigued by it’s fascinating, intricate petal formation and was compelled to show it to my readers.  It is a rose with some enviable attributes as follows:-

  1. Lovely shell pink blooms of an unusual form.
  2. The flowers are borne in clusters of up to eight blooms.
  3. Delightfully sweetly scented flowers.
  4. A repeat flowerer from early summer through to the first frosts.
  5. Healthy, disease resistant, glossy green foliage.
  6. Easy to grow.
  7. Approximately 90cm (3ft) tall x 60cm (2ft)wide, making it suitable both for large patio containers and beds and borders.

On the evening of the 31st July 2019, Jenny was the innocent victim in a road traffic incident. She tragically died at the scene at only 20yrs old. It shocked her close knit community greatly. Their response was to embark on a fundraising mission to commission this beautiful rose, a legacy left to honour Jenny’s name and memory. Jenny was a caring loving girl with a smile to light up any room. A beautiful girl inside and out. So little time to shine, but shine she did! £2.50 from every rose will go to The BillyChip Foundation helping the homeless. Billy, also 20yrs old and a local lad. Another life taken too soon.
